Frequently Asked Questions
Super Mini Storage

Q.Do you require insurance?

A.Yes, we do require all tenants insure their stored goods. Our storage office offers insurance through a third party (SBOATI) that you can conveniently pay with your storage rent or you can bring in proof of insurance (IE. Declarations page) when completing the rental paperwork.

Q.Does someone live on site all the time?

A.Yes, we have a resident manager, who has an additional 24/7 video monitor in his apartment, which is just one of our great security features. We also have coded entry gates, and a 10ft wall surrounding our facility.

Q.Can someone who is not a tenant come through the gates and have access to my unit?

A.Our gate is computer controlled. Tenants are given a code at the time of rental, and are allowed access from 7am - 7pm daily (except for major holidays). At sign-up, the tenant lists the names of people they will allow access to their unit.

Q.What kind of specials do you have?

A.We have office specials and online specials. You’re allowed one special per tenant. We also offer Senior & Military discounts.

Q.How long does it take to rent a unit?

A.We like to show you our units before you rent, to make sure you are getting the right size and are satisfied with the unit. Afterwards, it only takes about 10 minutes to get you signed up.

Q.When are payments due?

A.Payments are due on the anniversary of your rental date. We accept checks, money orders, credit cards and cash. You can pay online, have your payment automatically deducted, call your payment in, mail it in, or better yet, come on in to the office and pay, we would love to meet you!

Q.When I sign the contract, do I have to stay for a certain amount of time?

A.No, we offer a month-to-month contract here at Super Mini Storage.

Q.How much does a unit hold?

A.The smaller units, the 4x5 & 5x5, are a little larger than a closet, and are mostly for boxes and storage bins. Our 5x10s will hold a roomful of furniture. Our 10x10s can fit the contents of a large 1-bedroom or small 2-bedroom apartment. The 10x15s can fit the contents of a large 2-bedroom or a small 3-bedroom apartment. Our 10x20s can hold the contents of a large 3-bedroom house, and a 10x30 can fit the contents of a 4-bedroom house. You are also given a choice of inside or outside units.

Q.What kind of supplies do I need?

A.We’ve got everything you might need to make your moving experience as easy as possible. We offer boxes, packing tape, mattress bags, sofa & chair covers, protective pouches for glasses & dishes, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, newsprint, peanuts and more.
